Vivat Trust - Our senior team

David Le Quesne is chairman of Vivat. David was called to the Bar in London (Inner Temple) and then qualified and practised as an advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey. He spent most of his working life as a partner in Viberts law firm, and was for several years chairman of the Viberts Group (of which Vivat Trust was a part) and was also non-executive chairman of Vivat. For several years David was secretary of the Jersey Law Society. His practice speciality was litigation, both civil and criminal, and he appeared in some of the highest profile and longest trials in Jersey, including major trust cases. He decided upon a career change and retired as a partner in Viberts early in 2010 in order to became sole owner and executive chairman of Vivat. He remains a consultant to Viberts. David is also a qualified mediator and Chairman of the Jersey Employment Tribunal.

Michael Price is Vivat’s chief executive. Michael has spent more than 26 years as a senior executive in the financial services industry and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He was Group Managing Director of Trust Services for Close Wealth Management for four years up to 2007 and was responsible for the redevelopment of the trust business in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. Before that, Michael was group head of trust for SG Hambros and a Director of SG Hambros Private Bank. On his retirement, Michael became non-executive chairman of the Jersey trust company for Close, before agreeing to join Vivat Trust where his strong reputation and extensive knowledge are applied to the benefit of our clients. He has written a number of articles on fiduciary services and wealth management and has lectured extensively in the UK, North America and continental Europe.

Richard Twinam is Vivat’s client services director. Richard has over 30 years experience in the finance industry, a large part of which has been at a managerial level. For six years before joining Vivat Richard was the Private Client Manager, and a senior member of the management team, in the Jersey trust services division of Close Wealth Management, ultimately owned by Close Brothers plc. His many years of client relationship experience in the trust services industry enhances significantly the personal and dedicated service which Vivat aims to deliver.

Alice Dumoitier is a director and Vivat’s general manager with over 16 years experience in the finance industry and is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).
